Hi folks. First off, I admire your determination in ifghting RSI, as I am quite suicidal just 4 months in. Second off, I really need someone to shed some light on what I am going throu, that is - what the hell is wrong. I have been to bahzillion of physios and doctors who only scratch their heads. My problems don't stem from wrist, its is my lower back that started aching first and therefrom the pain spread to other parts of my body. I have written on some forums about my condition, but people couldn't help me much, even though they were great giving me feedback and actually carrying. I will paste a link to my story in the end of this mail, but before, I want to ask some specific questions.

1 Have you or someone you know experienced ongoing muscle wasting while combating RSI?

2 I read in some RSI stories about how some muscles got very weak. What is the reason for it? As far your knowledge goes, of course. Is it just from disuse or is it RSI blocking the blood flow?

I ask these questions, because muscle atrophy is the biggest problem of my. It was all started with me overloading my lumbar spine. Then the pain moved to other muscles making them stiff and weak. Now the muscles that hurt me are very distant to those that did hurt in the beginning. I think that none of the docs and physios I have talked to know about RSI (I actually had to reveal it to some of them), which makes me search for answers on-line.

Best,

Gregor.

Hi there I wonder if you would kindly add me to this list as an advanced TMS Recovery Practitioner. I was one of the first to train under Georgie Oldfield and SIRPA and I am keen to raise my profile. I myself suffered from TMS in my spine for 12 years and had four spine operations in that time before I finally came across the work of John Sarno. By Profession I am a Clinical and Cognitive Behavioural Hypno-Psychotherapist and I work out of Consulting Rooms in South Woodford London E18.

Regards
